We were picked up on time at the city-bus tour stop very close to our hotel and brought to meet the tram line in Franschhoek which then took us around to wineries on our allocated ‘Burgundy’ route (there was also a bus route section).
… We got a lunch along the way at Boschendal (also at our own cost) – Good meats and cheese and nice looking bread … and we finished off with a shared gin tasting at Bartinney – spectacular views at this estate and from their tasting shed.
Great too that the tram staff took care of purchases and had everything ready for pick-up at the end of the day, so nice not to have to cart things around with us.
