The Berkshires, MA

During winter months, this rural region turns into a dreamland with scenic landscapes at every turn. Here, adventurers can hit the trails at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort while art lovers can soak up the galleries as well as the Norman Rockwell Museum and MASS MoCA.

With lots of lodging options, you will surely have a perfect weekend outing in the midst of nature.


Phoenicia, NY

Drive about 2.5 hours from NYC and reach this sleepy hamlet where you’re sure to leave behind the trappings and pace of urban life.


During the winter, the surrounding mountains (only 20 minutes away) wrap fresh snow and ensure prospects for winter sports and activities galore.

The Hunter Mountains provide the best of skiing with miles of ski trails to delight you.
